El Capitan and Half Dome - Yosemite National Park (October 2004)

This photo is self-explanatory. Note the red tree in the foreground and you've about captured the essence of it. The park planners knew what they were doing when they put the parking lot here with such a perfectly aligned view of Half Dome on the opposite end of the valley.
