Man, Umbrellas, Cathedral - Prague (April 2004)

This is another interesting, if not otherwise nugatory, metaphor about the plight of our race on this planet. I'll leave it to the reader to decide what I mean by either that statement or this picture. I'm quite sure I don't know myself.

Marty, it is not yet September 22. Or Thursday. Just because you're a modern-day Renaissance guy, that doesn't mean you can travel in time. And there's no deeper meaning to the picture either...stop trying to fool us. This guy is probably selling charicatures, and he's only on the bridge because that's where the tourists are. The umbrellas are probably there just to cover up his art supplies. Furthermore, there are cathedrals everywhere in Prague, so there's no meaning there either. Nice try!!

Ha! Thanks for the comment. Glad you finally made it around to the site. In regards to why I sometimes post photos in advance of the actual date, my schedule often prohibits me from posting on certain days, so if I get the inspiration to post two pictures in one day, I'll do so under different datestamps.

And actually, there's only one cathedral in Prague, but many churches. And the guy was a tourist himself, rather than a charicaturist. And there is deeper meaning to the picture, you just haven't delved far enough. The meaning comes from the combination of artifacts as they appear here, not from an explanation of why they are there. I still haven't completely solidified what it means for myself, but meaning is there.
