Two Important Pieces of Czech History - Tocnik Castle (Fall 2002)

These two bits of Czech paraphernalia are, from left to right, a nail for opening chestnuts (from the 16th century) and the personal toilet lid of King Vaclav IV (from the 15th century). These were the only two items on display at this castle, and were probably more interesting to me than anything else they could have displayed. The story of my trip to Tocnik can be found in the archives somewhere. Go ahead and search for it. There are other good stories in there.
