Halfdome with a Shroud of Mist - Yosemite National Park (October 2006)

Well, I'm pretty happy with this shot. I've had people compare it to Ansel Adams, which I consider almost blasphemous, knowing his process and contrasting that with my own. Still, I would have to say it's some of the best work I've done so far. Perhaps if it had been taken with an 8x10 view camera, it would be worthy of the Ansel Adams comparisons.

I spent a day driving the loop in Yosemite valley and looking for shots. This was one of several nice ones I took, but I haven't edited many of the others due to time constraints and other pursuits currently keeping me busy.
