Path with Benches - Lany (April 2004)


This is on the grounds of the Summer seat of the Czech presidents. President Vaclav Klaus was playing tennis on the other side of a hedge a few meters behind me as I took this picture. Being used to the exhorbitant security in American government and even non-government buildings I was surprised how lax security was here -- especially considering that the president was home. But anybody who wants can roam the castle grounds freely, as long as they stay off the grass...
