Swan in Prague (April 2004)
I took this picture from the island in the middle of the Vltava river. This was the closest I have ever been able to get to one of the Prague swans. A pair of them were loitering, as swans are apt to do, around the end of the island for at least 30 minutes, so I was able to snap a few decent shots in that time. This was the best of those shots.

Here! Here! Very nice photos. They become something more than strangers when paired with "the story" about them.
in my experience, swans are as equally lacking in social graces as they are abounding in beauty. (vile creatures!) nice photo, though
