Chimney - Joshua Tree National Park (December 2005)

This is an example of the playground-like atmosphere one can find at Joshua Tree if he/she is interested in scrambling among rocks. I don't recommend getting too adventurous with your scrambling here if you're not an experienced climber (or at least know what a climbing shoe looks like) as there are many places where a stupid mistake can and does lead a person to certain death. However, there are plenty of safe places to jump around on some rocks and satisfy even the most inexperienced of scramblers.
