A Pensive Cyclist on the Charles Bridge - Prague (April 2004)

This is, in my opinion, one of the best photographs I've ever taken. In order to take photographs like this, one must wake himself up at 3:00am to catch a bus to catch the metro to the center of the city in time for the sunrise. If one does so, he will be rewarded with the surreal experience of wandering the old town of Prague completely alone (except for the occasional pensive cyclist). This is the only time of day you can be the only person standing on the Charles Bridge.
