Castle Guard - Prague (April 2004)

Here's an interesting hypothetical question for my readers:

If given the option of remaining awake for the rest of your life with no risk of ever feeling tired, and the only side effect being that your life would be shortened by the amount of time you would have normally spent sleeping, would you take that option? If not, would it make a difference in your decision if your life weren't shortened at all by choosing to stay awake?

Aah, part B is a new twist. If there truly was no side effect of tiredness, why sleep?

But in a world where no sleep produces no ill effects, would reality be so bad that one would want to escape?

I use a Canon EOS 3 with either a 70-200mm F2.8 L or a 20-35mm zoom.
