Flowered Countryside - Czech Republic (Spring 2002)


I'm not sure what sort of flowers these are, but they looked nice. This was in the fields near Karlstejn Castle. The castle can be found a short trainride's distance from Prague.

I think you're right about them being poppies. Poppy seeds seem to be a staple of the Czech diet, so it makes perfect sense that these would be poppies.

I do travel quite a bit (or at least I used to). I've been lucky to be able to do so much.
