Shovel, Door, and Sunlight (Spring 2003)

Another shot taken in Ceský Krumlov. This is the view when looking through the peephole on the locked covered bridge over the channel that controls how much water flows around the town in the river. One of the little nooks, or perhaps crannies, of Ceský Krumlov where, if so inclined, you can stay on the top floor of the home of a little old lady (who speaks Czech and German) living on the island to the left of the city gate as you are entering the town. The house used to be the residence of the town's executioner in ancient days and affords a quaint view of canoers and kayakers passing by on the river.
