Irish Skateboarder - Galway City (May 1999)

I've had some time over the past few days to go about the task of scanning some old negatives into the computer. I'm happy to report that I now have enough digitized material to last for another year of near-daily posting. And I'm still scanning, even as we speak, or as I type, whatever the case may be. Though it may not have seemed to be so, I felt I was scraping the bottom of the barrel this past month. Of course, if I had a digital camera, or even a scanner of my own, I wouldn't have to concern myself so much with running out of photos to post. But, for now I survive with what I've got, and probably nobody would be the wiser had I not just mentioned my difficulties.

Anyway, above you see a random Irish boy who was, with his skateboard, enjoying a fountain in Galway City. As you can see, this fountain like many things in Ireland is green. I'm not sure if the skateboarder was in the process of falling here, or if he actually landed his trick. Either way, it makes for an interesting photo.
